The legendary Sumatra Civet (Kopi Luwak) green bean comes from cage-free civets and at no point they are force fed coffee cherries.  The coffee plantation is 100% planter owned and green beans have been collected from the plantation direct.  For many coffee-lovers, home roasting is a way to ensure the freshest coffee and a more economical alternative to high-end coffee mail-order services.  Original green civet whole bean is better than ground beans and is ideal for roasted at home.  Please do not store civet coffee bean in a freezer since the bean will lose its flavor.  Keep your civet coffee bean away from excessive air, moisture, heat, and light.  It is better to store your coffee bean in an air-tight container and keep it in a dark and cool place.
