懷孕與hCG(人體絨膜促性腺激素）的關係：
健康的未懷孕婦女體內的hCG（人體絨膜促性腺激素）範圍通常是0至10 IU/L（國際單位每升）。在正常懷孕後的第一日起，hCG值就會上升，直到懷孕第十周時hCG值將高達230,000 IU/L。
嬰兒出生後的數周內hCG值會回復到正常水準。這就是為什麼說hCG是一種診斷懷孕的好指標之原因。
確定懷孕與否的臨界標準是大於10 IU/L。
產品概要：
普遍驗孕測試只對 25mlU hCG/ml 濃度的尿液產生敏感，其實一般的驗孕測試只可於行房後14天，當hCG到達21mIU/ml的水平方可測試出正確的驗孕結果。而Viola早孕測試比市面上一般驗孕測試的敏感度高出一倍，當尿液中的hCG值達到12 IU/L時（即大約懷孕10天后）, 就能告訴您是否懷孕 ，所以能於行房後10天就可以有效地測試出驗孕者懷孕與否。
早幾天知道驗孕結果對一些非常焦急的女性已是天壤之別。

有用提示：
原則上您可以在白天或是夜間的任意時間進行測試，但是測試用的尿樣建議是清晨第一次排放的尿液，因為這時尿液中的激素濃度是一天中最高的。萬一hCG濃度過低（原因可能有：尿液太稀或懷孕異常），儘管您的確懷孕了，但測試可能顯示陰性結果。
