Physiolac Formula - PHYSIOLAC, THE NEWBORN PHYSIOLOGY IN MIND
GOS / FOS – Maintain a health intestinal flora for your baby
Physiolac formulas have added GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) and FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) prebiotics dietary fibers in them. There are several medical researches that indicate that GOS/FOS can maintain a healthy balance of bacteria in the colon. Breast milk naturally contains several beneficial prebiotics fibers, the most abundant is GOS. The beneficial bacteria in the infant’s intestinal flora can make use of these prebiotics to grow and multiply. Therefore, the breastfed babies have a lot of beneficial bacteria in their flora. Similarly, formula with the supplement of GOS and FOS can help control the pathogenic bacteria and increase the beneficial bacteria in the flora of the babies, helping them digest and absorb the nutrients, and boost their immune system
Similar protein profile as breast milk
The casein and soluble protein ratio in Physiolac formulas mimic the human milk. Not only can they satisfy the need of the babies, but also very easy to digest.
A Complete and Coherence Range
Physiolac has a complete range of formulas: there is coherence in the different formulas so that your baby does not feel any disturbance at the digestive level during the passage from one category to another. For example, between Physiolac standard and Physiolac anti-regurgitation, the protein profile is maintained. Your baby can switch from one to the other with the same digestive comfort.
Comply with the Stringent European Baby Formula Regulation
Physiolac formulas are produced according to the stringent European Baby Formula Guidelines (European Directives 91/321 and 96/4). All the products are made in France and are of the same formulation as the products available in the French market. This guarantees that your baby can enjoy the same safe products that are available to the babies in Europe.
Breast milk is the most natural, safest, and suitable food for new born babies. However, breastfeeding a child from birth to 2 years old may not be feasible for every mother. When breastfeeding is not possible, infant formula is the best alternative. There are many different brands of infant formulas in the market, choosing the most suitable for your baby may not be an easy task. Below is some pointers for choosing the right one.
All the commercial infant formulas have pretty much the same nutrition value. They can provide an infant with the basic nutrients to support his/her growth. In spite of this, the ingredients and the characteristics of each brand are different.
Before you decide on a formula, you should consult your pediatrician and make sure it is the right one for your baby. There are several types of formulas:
Cow-milk based Formula
They are made from cow milk with enrichment to make the protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals close to human milk.
Soy based Formula
They are made from soy and are suitable for infants that are allergic to cow milk and lactose.
Hydrolyzed Formula
These are hypoallergenic formulas suitable for babies with a family history of severe allergies. In the production process, the protein has been hydrolyzed making it easier for the babies to digest and absorb, thus reduce the chance of allergy.
Special Formula
Under special conditions, infants may need to take special kind of formulas. For instance, when the baby regurgitate easily after a meal, an anti-regurgitation formula may need to be prescribed. For baby with big appetite, there are formulas with added starch. During diarrheas episodes, a formula that can help ease the diarrheas is suitable.
